Scatola nuova mai aperta o giocata garanzia 3 10 46, manuale 3-46, completa pezzi rilegati con la corda originale del primo dopoguerra che era bianco sporco. Scatoletta chiusa. Come tutte le scatole del ’46 ci sono due avvisi: il primo riguarda i pezzi nichelati che sono solo lucidati, ed il secondo sull’assenza delle gomme bianche 155A,difatti ci sono i buchi nel cartone di fissaggio, ma non le gomme.

MECCANO FRANCE primo dopoguerra.
La Meccano inizia la sua produzione in Francia con la società Meccano SA a Rue Rebeval nel quartiere di Belleville a Parigi nel 1920 in un piccolo atelier (attuale Scuola Superiore di Architettura) ed apre poi nel 1930 la grande fabbrica di via Henri Barbusse à Bobigny (alle porte di Parigi, sulla strada per Reims).
Nel 1946 la produzione era appena ricominciata nella fabbrica di Bobigny; in effetti nel periodo 1940- 1944 la fabbrica era stata requisita dai tedeschi per lavorare per Märklin.
Le scatole si fermavano al numero 6 e dalla carta ed il cartone ai materiali per i pezzi e le verniciature, tutto evidenziava il periodo di grande difficoltà di reperimento di materiali pregiati.
E’ praticamente assente il rame per cui le parti in ottone sono sostituite da parti in alluminio (i collari delle ruote i manicotti e gli ingranaggi), manca la gomma ed i materiali pregiati come il nichel. La carta è marroncina, i cartoni molto sottili, la verniciatura in oro delle strisce è molto appariscente, ma poco duratura (sembra porporina), la rifinitura degli angoli delle piastre flessibili è inesistente.
La quantità dei pezzi e la loro disposizione nella scatola è identica a quella anteguerra.
Occorre ricordare che il periodo a cavallo della seconda guerra mondiale si caratterizza come il più povero per la Meccano, sia in termini di numero di pezzi che di loro varietà.

Like all boxes of ’46 there are two warnings: the first concerns the nickel parts that are just polished, and the second on the absence of white tires 155A, indeed there are holes in the fixing cardboard, but not the tires.

MECCANO FRANCE postwar period.
The Meccano began its production in France with the company Meccano SA Rue Rébeval in the Belleville district in Paris in 1920 in a small studio (now School of Architecture) and then opened in 1930 the largest factory via Henri Barbusse à Bobigny (outside of Paris, on the way to Reims).
In 1946 the production had just begun again in the factory Bobigny; in fact in the period 1940- 1944 the factory had been taken over by the Germans to work for Märklin.
The boxes would stop at number 6 and the paper and cardboard materials for parts and painting, all showed the period of great difficulty in obtaining materials.
There was virtually no copper so the brass parts are replaced by aluminum parts (wheel’ collars couplings and gears), missing the rubber and precious materials such as nickel. The paper is brownish cartons very thin, coating of gold stripes is very flashy, but little lasting (looks purple), the finishing of the corners of the flexible plates is non-existent.
The quantity of the pieces and their arrangement in the box is identical to the pre-war.
It should be noted that the period straddling the Second World War is characterized as the poorest for Meccano, both in terms of number of pieces and of their variety.
