L’unico modello ufficiale con due motori elettrici E6 ebbe due versioni la prima (1927) ruota su due cerchi formati da 8 canali curvi #119, la seconda (1936) li sostituisce con il famoso Geared Roller Bearing #167, che in effetti era uscito subito dopo la pubblicazione della prima versione.

Curioso è che già nella versione 1929 del Manuale Standard Mechanisms alle pagg. 27 e 33 vi sono delle figure (riportate sotto) con il Pontoon Crane con il GRB e con un solo motore. Questa versione semplificata rendeva possibile la costruzione con la scatola 7 (o L o 10), ove era presente un motore elettrico, ma non e mai stata pubblicata, le sole immagini sono quello dello Standard Mechanisms.

Proprio partendo da queste è stato realizzato il modello della collezione, preferendo i pezzi anni ’20 nichelati, che pur se dal 1927 non equipaggiavano più i set Meccano, si potevano comunque comprare sciolti e fanno risaltare il GRB che nella prima versione (quella usata) era azzurro e grigioargento. Il motore è il classico E6 rosso anni ’20, che riesce benissimo a far funzionare la gru.

Curious is that already in the 1929 version of the Standard Mechanisms on pages. 27 and 33 there are the figures (given below) with the Pontoon Crane with the GRB and with a single motor. This simplified version made it possible to be built  with the set 7 (or L or 10), where there was only one electric motor, but has never been published, the only images we have are that of the Standard Mechanisms.
Precisely from these was made the model of the collection, preferring the nickel parts ‘20s, which although since 1927 were no more in Meccano sets, you could still buy loose and bring out the GRB that in the first version (the one used) it was blue and gray-silver. The engine is the classic red E6 of  ‘20s, which can very well to operate the crane.
