Il modello è mosso da un motore elettrico E20R e tramite un differenziale trasmette il moto ai due cingoli, realizzati con una doppia catena. Con il semplice blocco di una delle ruoti motrici il carro ruota su se stesso. Ho scelto di costruire il modello con i soli pezzi della serie multikit (Army e Combat) con l’aggiunta degli ingranaggi necessari e delle ruote flangiate nere del periodo coreano. La torretta ed il cannone funzionante sono decisamente più realistici di quelli del modello del Magazine. Il blocco dei cingoli agisce sulle viti di fissaggio delle ruote motrici ed è comandato da una leva posta all’esterno sotto la torretta.

 

The model is driven by an electric motor E20R via a differential and transmits the motion to the two crawler tracks, made with a double chain. With the simple block of one of the drive wheels the tank will steer in desired direction.

I chose to build the model with the only parts of the series Multikits (Army and Combat) with the addition of the necessary gears and the black flanged wheel of the Korean period. The turret swivels and the gun functions, and are much more realistic than those of the model of the Magazine. The block of tracks is acting on the set screws of the drive wheels and is controlled by a lever placed on the outside under the turret.
